Meet Your Board Member……Felicia Bailey, Diversity & Inclusion Chair

Felicia Bailey resides in Virginia Beach and has four children, three of whom are in high school.
Yasmaine, is a senior and Tiana is a sophomore. Her son Marshall is a freshman and Tyler is in seventh grade. Felicia is a Reading Intervention Specialist with Virginia Beach Public Schools.

She has been involved in PTA for thirteen years now. She began her PTA service in San Diego, CA serving at Mason ES as the PTA president for two years. When her husband was transferred to Virginia Beach with the Navy she continued her volunteer work at Birdneck ES and Corporate Landing MS. She has served in almost every capacity in the PTA recently completing two years as Virginia Beach Council of PTAs president. This is Felicia’s first year on the Virginia PTA Board of Managers. She has attended the past two National PTA Emerging Minorities Leaders Conferences.

Outside of her Board of Managers activities, Felicia also serves as the president of Tallwood High School’s Global Studies and World Language Academy’s booster club president, and serves as the parliamentarian for Tallwood PTA. Felicia is also currently the secretary for District 8 Little League.
