Meet Your Board Member……LaTonya Miller, Bylaws Chair

LaTonya Miller resides in Nelson County. She is the proud mother of three children; ages 20, 18 and 13. She misses her daughter Samantha who just left for the University of Mary Washington!

During her fifteen year service to PTA she has served at the local unit level at Ryan Elementary,Rockfish Elementary, Nelson Middle and Nelson High School and at Rustburg High School. She has served on Virginia PTAs Board of Managers as a District Director of the Lynchburg District and on several standing committees including Field Service, Bylaws, Parental Involvement, and Internal Committees including Nominations Leadership and Development, Redistricting, Administration & Policy, LTC and Convention. LaTonya has served as the VA PTA Bylaws Committee Chair since 2009. She enjoys working with local unit leaders to solve bylaws issues and concerns. She is grateful that she has been able to help make a difference locally and statewide with her PTA work. She believes in PTA!
