Meet Secondary PTA/PTSA Committee Chair: Whitney Justice
She is the mother of an awesome 20 year old son, named Nick that is a junior at James Madison University and is on the Varsity Co-Ed Cheer Team. She is also mom of a four legged, four year old Dalmatian named Lucy that is very spoiled. In her free time, she likes to watch and attend high school and college sporting events especially football and basketball and she loves to travel.
Whitney has been active in PTA at the elementary, middle and high school levels, serving as president at Northside Middle and High School and various positions on the County Council in Roanoke County. Her passion in PTA has been the Operation Life program where she has supported the importance of school leaders offering safe alternatives to events after Prom and Graduation for high school students.
At the State level of PTA, Whitney has attended our Leadership Training Conference and our Annual Convention, both as a participant and a presenter. She served as member at large before becoming the Secondary Committee Chair. Whiney also served on the 2009 Convention Committee and currently serves on the following standing committees: Membership and Diversity/Inclusion Committee. She is also a member of the VA PTA 2011 Strategic Plan Steering Committee.
